4 Countries have no natural forest cover : The forest is the backbone of the world, without forest the world can’t survive for a while. But the forest cover in the world is gradually decreasing, creating concern about saving the forest land. The loss of forest is now become a global threat and need early attention too.
As per the World Bank report some of the countries are there, those do not have natural forest cover. The Four Countries With Zero Forest cover are San Marino, Qatar, Greenland, and Oman. Some of them have few man-made forest area while some doesn’t have.
4 Countries have no natural forest cover
Greenland – From the name one can easily believe that this country is full of greenery but in reality, Greenland does not have forest cover. Due to low temperatures and ice-covered areas, no forest is found in this country.
San Marino – A per the World Bank report San Marino has no natural forest. The total forest area is zero.
Qatar – Qatar is situated in the coastal part of the Arabian Peninsula. Surprisingly this country does not have a natural forest area or no trees.
Oman – Oman doesn’t have a considerable forest cover area but has some forests and it’s made due to plantation by the government. So man-made forests are growing in Oman but still don’t have a natural forest area.
