Devkund Waterfall Similipal National Park

Devkund Waterfall Similipal National Park – Devkund Waterfall is situated inside the Similipal National Park, in Mayurbhanja District. It is a naturally created pond deep inside the forest.

The hight of this waterfalls is around – 6-8 ft. From the main gate, the distance is around 1.5-2.5 km. There is a parking place where you can park your vehicle and then you have to walk another 1 km aprox. to reach your destination.

There is no vehicle access from the parking place to the waterfall, so you have to walk. While walking inside the forest you will feel pleasure and a true adventure experience as you have to walk inside the forest.

Things to Do:
If you want to experience an adventure picnic then this place is ideal for you. You can enjoy the beauty of the nature and amazing waterfall.

Nearest Location: Khirochora Gopinatha, Emami Jagannath Temple

Things to Note:
Do not take cameras as it is not allowed inside the forest.
Take a water bottle with you but avoid taking food packets.
Do not walk alone, always stay with your team, as this place is away from network connectivity.
Try to enter before 2 P.M and return early that is before 5 PM.
This place is home to elephants so keep that in your mind and stay alert always.
