Odisha’s tiger population rises to 30

Odisha’s tiger population rises to 30 which was 20 two years ago.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced on his Twitter account that the tiger population in the state of Odisha has increased. As per the department source, there are a total of 27 adult tigers (13 males and 14 females) who were trapped under camera. This survey was conducted by Forest and Environment department of Odisha using camera trap method. Then they found total 30 tigers including 8 cubs present in Odisha.

Later, CM Odisha congratulated the eantire team for their hard work in creating an effort to create a hospitable habitat for the tigers to flourish again.
