Massive Asteroid Racing Towards Earth at 35,010 KMPH. An airplane-sized asteroid, named 2024 NB1, is set to make its closest approach to Earth on July 9th, according to NASA sources.
The asteroid measures 200 feet in size and is traveling at a fiery speed of 35,010 kmph.Although 2024 NB1 belongs to the Aten group of asteroids, which means it can come very close to Earth.
Is there any threat to Earth?
According to space agency 2024 NB1 is not a potentially hazardous asteroid due to its size.. However, NASA continues to monitor it closely to track any changes in its trajectory and avoid any sudden risk.
