The Carcass of Whale shark was recovered by the locals near Siali Beach of Jagatsinghpur district.The shark is around 4ft wide and 20 ft long and weighs nearly 7 to 8 quintal.
While doing patrolling the Forest Squad found the shark half-buried inside the soil. Later shark died due to its critical condition and the body will be going for a postmortem today, reported by Forest Range Officer Ranjan Mishra.
The office will keep the skeleton of the shark for later scientific research and the body will be buried with chemicals.
