Facts about Kans Grass or Wild Sugarcane : Saccharum spontaneum or wild sugarcane belongs to the Poaceae family. It is also known as the kans flower or the Kasatandi flower. This perennial grass can grow up to two-three meters in height. At the end of the monsoon white flowers from the grass attract people as it looks like a white wave of the sea that flows silently.
