But due to the increase in dog bite cases, the Indian government has banned some species of dog. In recent days many such cases are coming to the limelight where the owner getting killed by his/her pet dog.
So here is the list of the top 5 dogs that are banned in India
1. American Bulldog – American bulldogs are very large and have great muscular strength. They can grow up to a height of 50- 70 cm and wages nearly 50-60 kg. Due to their strength, they can catch and harm badly.
2. American Pit Bull – This is an ancestor of the Bandog. Looks very dangerous and furious. Can protect you from evil agents. But sometimes they lost their scene and can attack with great force.
3. Rottweiler – They are looks similar to the domestic dog. People kept them as they are very familiar with them and do a lot of work like pulling carts and buying food from the market. They are very aggressive towards unknown or strangers.
4. Cane Corso – It is originated from Italy and an Italian breed of Mastiff. People usually kept them as guard dogs. They have powerful muscular strength and are used for hunting purposes.
5. Dogo Argentino – The Dogo Argentino is a large and muscular breed of Argentina. The color of this dog is white. It was developed in Argentina. They are used for hunting purposes. It is also banned in some other countries but legal in the United States of America
The total annual dog bite case is nearly 17.4 million in India. Most of the victims suffered from rabies and 36% of the world’s rabies deaths have been recorded in India. So the Government of India is taking every possible step to stop the dog bite cases in India.
