Nandankanan Bird Walk – Things to know about the Initiative. For the first time, Nandankanan Zoo authority has started a unique initiative that is “Nandankanan Bird Wilk”. Through this, a group of visitors can do a morning walk in the lap of nature along with the birds. The main objective of this event is to give opportunity to the public for exploring various birds of Nandankana Zoo.

Who can Join: Only 20 visitors are allowed to join this walk.

How can someone avail of this facility: To avail this facility participants have to register their details on the website between Monday to Friday.

Timing: Those who are registered for Bird Walk have to report at the Zoo before 6.15 Am. After that this bird walk will start at sharp 6.30 AM and end at 09.30 AM.

What you will see: You will enjoy a walk inside the greenery. There is a chance to see the National bird Peacock inside it. As they are flying free inside that region.

ABOUT NANDANKANAN

Nandankanan zoo is situated in Bhubaneswar of state Odisha. There you can find various kinds of animals, birds, and reptiles. It was established in the year 1960 and spread over 437 hectares. This is the first zoo in the world that successfully breed Melanistic tigers and White tigers. Now Odisha Tourism Department is planning to bring Cheetahs to this Zoo.
