A clouded leopard is a rare type of animal found in Asia, inside the rain forests of Indonesia and the foothills of the Himalayan forests.
Things to know about Clouded leopard;-
This wild cat has black patches on its body and can grow up to 68-108 cm in length.
The population of this species is fewer than 10,000 and gradually decreasing due to some unfavorable conditions like commercial poaching and deforestation.
This leopard has been listed under the IUCN Red List since 2008 and coming under the Vulnerable category.
They mostly feed on the animals like deer, monkeys, and small animals as per a report given by National Geography.
This rare clouded leopard was spotted in the mountains of Nagaland for the first time in India.
Researchers clicked the photos of this rare leopard and it goes viral on social media.
