Sahara Desert witnesses First flood in 50 years

Sahara Desert witnesses First flood in 50 years. The world’s biggest desert, the Sahara, witnessed the first flood in 50 years.  Due to two days of torrential heavy rainfall in southeastern Morocco, the entire area is covered with water, which is the rarest of rare things to watch.

This rainfall exceeded the region’s typical yearly averages, creating a rare and intense situation for the typically arid landscape.

Scientists and researchers claim it results from instant atmospheric change and global warming. Scientists also caution that future storms may create more such phenomena shortly. Sahara Desert witnesses First flood in 50 years
