Save Birds Campaign by Youth For Seva : On the hot summer days living organisms face many hurdles as the temperature is too high. To stay safe from the heat waves of the sun living organisms search for a perfect habitat. They usually stay inside their home and comes out just before the sundown.

Due to the extreme heat condition, they suffer from many health issues like dehydration, sunstroke, etc. This condition is very common in birds. In the absence of a perfect shelter and drinking water birds suffer a lot, especially in the cities where there are fewer trees and the temperature is too high.

So to save the birds from extreme heatwave conditions, Youth For Seva – a social organization working for social development has taken an initiative ‘Save Birds Campaign’. The main aim of this initiative is to save and protect the bird’s life by providing them with drinking water.

The volunteers of Youth For Seva have tied more than 50 earthen water-pot on the trees, rooftops, ground, etc in various locations of the state capital of Odisha and also in other parts of Odisha. The birds will come and drink water out of the pot when they need some water or feels thirsty. This will a bliss for the birds in the hot summer days and a life saver also.

Locals and wildlife lovers have praised ‘Youth For Seva’ for their act of kindness to save the lives of birds.
