Tea – The Queen of All Beverages
People all over the world starting from children to 90s aged groups everyone loves to take tea. The day starts with a cup of tea and also ends with this cup of tea. It boosts your immune system and helps you to stay active. Yes, it’s right that excess drinking may create some health problems but still we can say a good tea is always good for your health.
In India, 88% of households have reported consumption of tea. India is the second-largest producer of tea after China. Assam and Darjeeling are the two main hubs of India’s tea production.
There are so many kinds of tea available in the market but let’s catch some good and famous ones.
Herbal Tea-
Herbal tea is a composition of hers like Tamarind, Ginger, Hibiscus, Rooibos. All these ingredients have a lot of health benefits. It improves your immunity system and helps against chronic indigestion, blood pressure, motion sickness, constipation, improves blood circulation, etc.
Green Tea-
This particular tea originated from China. Green tea leaves contain flavonoids that keep your heart healthy. Studies show this tea can also lower your blood pressure and triglycerides.
To reduce bad cholesterol people take this tea instead of other variants. Yes, it’s indeed taste is not good.
White Tea –
White tea is made up of the Camellia sinensis plant. Research shows that this variant of tea is good for your teeth. It contains a very low percentage of caffeine which makes it a good choice for tea drinkers.
In Ayurveda, there is a concept of tea that we mentioned as Herbal Tea. It contains Holy Basil, Cardamom, Pepper, Mint, etc.
Now the new concept of herbal tea is called ‘Kadha’ which is now used by every Indian to fight against Covid-19 viruses.
