Things to know about Mangalajodi – Mangalajodi is situated at the Northern end of Chilika Lake, Odisha.
The wetland and birds made this place famous. It is also known as the Bird’s paradise of Asia.
One can find more than 230 varieties of birds (including migratory birds).

Millions of foreign birds including local bird species can be found in the Mangaljodi wetland. In the peak season, this wetland hosts nearly 2 lakhs of bird species.
It comes under global wetland habitat and is declared an International Bird Conservation Area.
