Significance of World Crocodile Day: As per the IUCN data crocodiles are coming under the Least Concern category and Schedule I as per WPA,1972. Due to the destruction of their habitat, they failed to survive the changes.
So their life is in danger. The killing of Crocodiles, and the illegal selling of their eggs, reduced their population. So the main aim of celebrating this day is to protect and conserve this species at any cost.
